GIULIANI'S 9/11 TRAP

Please...Rudi would not even be running if he had not been the 911 mayor, and would not have the support he does only for that reason. Many will vote for him out of nothing but pure sentiment because of 911...doing a good job during a major emergency situation does not mean you are Presidential material, maybe fireman or cop or EMT

IT'S NOT DEAD. IT'S RESTING.

I quit giving the RNC money sometime back, yet the kept calling and mailing me beg-o-grams almost weekly. I used to defend Bush here against the liberals I work with at University, not anymore, I have a sick feeling they were right all along.

Like someone said :

Here follows a brief list of Bush's many lies, in no particular order:

1} "The Palestinians are a partner in the peace process;"

2} "The Saudis are our friends and allies in the war on terror;"

3} "Harriet Meirs is the best qualified candidate for the high court;"

4} "Islam is a religion of peace;"

5} "The terrorists have hijacked a great and peaceful religion;"

6} "Brownie, you're doing a great job;"

7} "Governor Blanco and Mayor Nagin are doing a great job."

Feel free to add your own fond remembrance of this President to the list!

FRED THOMPSON: THE MAN, THE MOMENT, THE MESS

"fashioning a legacy", oh brother, he'll have a legacy all right, right along with Jimmy Carter. In teh beginning I thought he'd be one of the best presidents, now I realize he will be one of the worst. Gingrich was right, Bush is the GOP's Carter and that is some sick company.

HAGEL SAYS "NO DEFEAT" IN iRAQ: JIHADIS GIGGLE

Hagel along with many others will be singing a different song when Iran takes over Iraq and its oil fields. Say Iran controls all Iraq's oil and their own oil, say Iran being made the strong man in teh region (thanks in part to the US deposing of Saddam) overthrows the Saudi government or threatens them with their new bright and shiny nukes that the world (including the US) sat back and let Iran have. Say then Iran controls thier oil, Iraq's oil,Saudi's oil ? Say they cut off the oil flow to the US, of course joined by their friend Chavez in Venezuala...the US may be brought down by the ensuing crippling to our econmoy. But alas many think this is mere doomsday babbling...

THE LEBANESE PEOPLE VS. HIZBULLAH: ROUND 1 LOOMS

And why should't Assad and the Iranians do these things, they know no one will stop them. Hell we got Jimmy Cater leading the way to "investigate" Israels "terrorist actions", seems the West has gone punk when push comes to shove and the Islamist know it. Plus we have done nothing but make Iran the Strong Man in the region. They laugh, what is the US going to do?, send Condi in with another "robust "plan. She, who said the 'Palestinians" are so "humiliated". we sure aren't going to deal with Syria, big brother Iran will step up and its obvious we won't deal with Iran. They will get nukes on GWB's watch. Bush is a lousy chess player. He should have saved our resources for going after the real terror threat in the region, Iran, rather then Iraq. We thought Saddam had WMD, but by damn we KNEW Iran had been working on nukes for years aided by the Russians. Check mate.

GEMAYEL ASSASSINATION MAY REVITALIZE DEMOCRATIC COALITION

Think again, what is more likely to happen...

"This very well could be the spark that lights the fire of a civil war that in the end will be a Hizbullah controlled State under the control of Syria and Iran.

When you combine this with the fact that American officials are in contact with Syrian official in Iraq to gain the support of Syria to help in Iraq.

The price Syria wants is for the USA to force Israel from the Golan Heights.

The current Israeli government will in the end cave to this pressure and attempt to retreeat from the Golan Heights which will rip Israeli society to pieces." Yoni

ASSASSIN STRIKES AT SINIORA GOVERNMENT (UPDATED)

Condemnations abound, you don't really believe Syria & Hizbullah's "condemnations" ? When will the West stop falling for Islamic double speak. Arafat used "condemn" terrorist activity all the time, all the while perpetrating it in the background. No the West will keep lapping it up even so far as to sit down with Syria and Iran for *help* in Iraq. I guess we have forgotten we've been in a state of war with Iran since back in the 70"s..they said but I guess the wizards of the West don't believe them.

KERRY: AS COLD AS THEY COME

Kerry is a shameful traitor, he is an ass. Thank God this man did not get into the White House. He does not deserve his seat in the Senate either.

IS DEFINING "VICTORY" IN IRAQ AN EXERCISE IN FUTILITY?

I don’t believe we should leave BUT I think we ought to face the fact we will NEVER be able to leave (which will mean our men will continue to die) because the Shia and the Sunnia will NEVER stop their murderous struggle for power. And Iran will not stop instigating discontent and their agenda. They Shia and Sunni will continue to be at each others throats for power, they will not hold hands and make nice for ‘democracy’, besides the Qur’an does provide the basis for a ‘democratic’ governing of Islamic countries. The deep lack of understanding of this led Bush to be deceived into thinking “just give democracy a chance”. His intentions may have been noble but they will not work, not at all. I have come to believe we would have better kept our assets (money and men’s lives) for the greater threats we face, IRAN and N.Korea
